This year brings with it the 16th annual Wavelength Festival! Which is exactly what us Canadians need to get us out and moving during these cold wintery eves. Its an amazing Festival with awesome line ups of the newest, freshest and most exciting sounds in the Canadian independent music scene. AND! Individual event tickets are only $12 and the full festival pass is only $39! Making it pretty easy to get us out and enjoying some live tunes.
So this years Wavelength Festival is held at The Garrison and Markham House City Building Lab. These are two intimate venues with a unique style and friendly vibe. We all know The Garrison and Im sure have spent many a evening dancing about to live music with friends and strangers a like. I personally had never been to the Markham House city Building Lab, but once checked out online, has made me pretty intrigued to see a show in this cool space.
Now here is the deal with the artists. Usually when going to an event I look up a few bands to decide whether or not its worth going out for.. especially in the winter. what I found was a bill filled with diversity and sincere Canadian talent. It was way too hard to pick just a few artists to highlight so here is what I did… I made a complete list and schedule for everyone who will be performing in this years Wavelength Festival – I also added music videos because.. well because why not.
